Our Nikklas dining table, made from solid oak, draws inspiration from traditional farm furniture and combines Scandinavian elegance with everyday functionality. By transferring classic shapes into modern design, you get a solid wood table with a unique charm.
The Nikklas table with drawers is characterized by its traditional craft connections that ensure outstanding stability. Precisely crafted dovetail connections connect the table top with the two ridge strips. The round table legs taper towards the bottom and are flared at an angle, which gives the table its delicate appearance. The wooden surface is sanded by hand until it feels silky smooth.
Our high-quality wood oil protects the table from moisture and dirt, while at the same time emphasizing the beautiful grain of the oak wood and giving it a warm honey tone.
The dining table has two practical drawers that can be easily pulled out in both directions. No metal parts are used and the drawers slide smoothly and easily in the precisely hand-crafted wooden rails. They offer enough space for narrow folders or even a laptop, meaning the table can be used as both a dining table and a workstation. If necessary, you can store everything neatly and prepare the table for eating together.
For special occasions, such as birthdays or family celebrations, the Nikklas dining table can be expanded with drawers with up to two clip-on plates. The ridge strip under the table has precisely fitting recesses through which the wooden rails of the clip-on plates are pushed. You can gain additional seats in just two steps and without the need for tools.
On request, we can also make the Nikklas table with drawers from ash, walnut or reclaimed wood. There are also various surface treatments to choose from. Of course, this also applies to the clip-on plates, which can be reordered at any time.
This solid oak dining table is not only timeless and solid, but also extremely durable. The hardwood is almost indestructible and contributes to healthy living. You can always sand and re-oil the table to give it a new shine. The natural material is also easy to care for and clean.
