  • Rinse the board by hand with warm water and a little mild soap, then dry it upright. Oil it regularly with food-safe oil, such as linseed or mineral oil, so the wood stays saturated and repels moisture.
  • Our boards are glued with waterproof, food-safe adhesive under high pressure. With normal care the joints hold for decades. Prolonged soaking in water is the only real risk, so never leave the board submerged.
  • Yes. Every board is joined, glued and pressed in our own workshop. That is how we control wood selection, grain matching and joint quality from the first cut to the finished board.
  • No. Solid wood does not belong in the dishwasher, the heat and prolonged moisture cause it to warp and crack. A quick hand wash and thorough drying keep the board in shape for many years.
