Brotzeit has a long history in Bavaria and was originally enjoyed by farmers, alpine shepherds and craftsmen as a snack. We at Anton Doll Holzmanufaktur love this tradition and have translated it into a fresh, contemporary design. »Leopold« impresses with its clear, minimalist shape, its smooth feel and the fine grain of the solid oak wood.
High-quality workmanship and easy care
Our »Leopold« snack board is glued to make it robust and durable and to minimize cracking and warping. Of course, we only use food-safe glue. The board is finely sanded and treated with food-grade wood oil to protect it and increase its longevity.
Thanks to the natural tannic acid in oak wood, the board has an antibacterial effect. It is therefore no wonder that hikers and workers traditionally simply wipe their snack board with a cloth and put it aside until the next meal.
