Oak wood is known for its high proportion of tannic acid, which has a naturally antibacterial effect. This makes our “egg pad” the ideal companion for your morning meals. And because tastes are different, we also offer the “Ei Pad” in ash and walnut. You can mix the breakfast boards as you wish or ensure a uniform look.
Each of our breakfast boards is made from high-quality solid wood and finished by hand. After sanding, the surface is refined with a fine wood oil. The oil protects the wood and brings out the unique grain of each board. And so that your “egg pad” stays beautiful for a long time, we have glued it together. This technique prevents warping and cracking and increases the longevity of the board.
